About Fortis X

Initially our company provided specific medical solutions, to satisfy the exacting requirements of the healthcare industry. Started in 2008 by Nicholas De Beer, the business produced its first medical products and entered the manufacturing arena by injection moulding product lines from medical grade acetal, plastic polymers and silicone. At this point, the company also supplied packaging material along with the other lines, which would then be sterilized with ethylene oxide.

Five years later our lines expanded to synthetic Polyethylene Terephthalate ligaments, niche’ titanium, stainless steel and textile lines, distributed across South Africa and exported to Namibia.

Rebranding as Fortis X we expanded our plastics and packaging markets to include biodegradable materials such as Cassava, Bio-based Polyesters and biodegradable packaging solutions.
We supply these items in South Africa and they are now available for ordering internationally.

Our company incorporates many solutions. For specialized items we offer both import and export solutions as well as various manufacturing services, tailoring a product to your exact specifications.
